Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has arrived at the team’s camp as they prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Osimhen’s delayed arrival was due to the finalization of his transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray. After completing the move, he arrived in Uyo on Thursday and immediately joined his teammates to ramp up preparations for the crucial qualifier on Saturday.
Osimhen is expected to lead the attack for head coach Austin Eguavoen’s squad. He will be supported by attacking options like Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi, and Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman.
With Osimhen’s arrival, all 23 players called up for the qualifiers are now in camp.
