President Bola Ahmed Tinubu experienced a slip and fall while approaching a vehicle designated to convey him to the parade around the Eagles Square as part of the Democracy Day celebration.
This incident occurred shortly after he had delivered a nationwide broadcast.
Armed Forces personnel and Tinubu’s personal assistants encircled him at Eagles Square on Wednesday morning. Wearing his trademark headgear and a traditional white agbada, Tinubu tried to stabilize himself by clinging on the car, but he finally collapsed while he was climbing up. His assistants raced to get him back on his feet right away.
The fall did not stop the parade from going on. As the car made its way slowly around Eagles Square, the president, remaining composed, waved to the assembled people.
Internet users have responded to the unfortunate scene in the video in a variety of ways.
