On May 31, 2024, Rt. Hon. Barr. Sunday Cyriacus Umeha convened a stakeholders dialogue with the Labour Party leadership of the Ezeagu-Udi Federal Constituency, including constituents and supporters. The meeting was part of a series of events marking Hon. Umeha’s first year in office as the Member Representing Ezeagu-Udi Federal Constituency.
During the event, Hon. Umeha highlighted his achievements over the past year, focusing on employment opportunities, job creation, scholarships, legislative engagement, youth empowerment, support for religious communities, active constituency engagement, and improvements in road and power infrastructure.
Hon. Umeha also urged the state party leadership to foster greater cooperation to withstand external political pressures. He specifically called on the Acting State Chairman to stop interfering in the internal affairs of Ezeagu Local Government, which has been causing tension in the area.
The stakeholders responded enthusiastically, passing a vote of confidence in Hon. Umeha and expressing optimism about the future under his leadership. They also reiterated their commitment to supporting him when needed.
