Reports reviews that her husband,  Odi Okojie, is also an APC candidate for the Esan North East/ South East federal constituency in Edo State, Nigeria.

The post from her official Facebook account reads; “Earlier today, I joined His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu and the incredible women leaders that make up the APC ‘Women Presidential Campaign Team’ at the APC women Southwest Rally.

As a woman, wife to an APC candidate @princeodiokojie and mother, I am confident in the APC plan for women which is in line with the 35% affirmative action for women.
From the goodwill messages and conversations with the women leaders, I was opportuned to hear from the horse’s mouth and I have renewed hope and confidence in the good intentions, great plans and actions to follow for the women of Nigeria and for the people of Nigeria”.
She has been facing many criticisms from many Nigerians who believe that the APC has done more harm than good to the nation. Nigerians also have big hatred for their presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Amed Tinibu.
A response from Chukwuemeka Hannah Adanne states;

“No even try mention presidency no talk say I know worn you.
You’re trying to make me hate you if I hear that again.
You can go ahead and campaign for your hubby but know talk presidency again”
Nsisong Ekong responded with; “Oh my darling Mercy, who has bewitched you with that devilish acronym APC, and worst of all, presidential…?

I think I really need to fast for your cleansing. You’re too loved to have anything to do with Balablu”.
Ekoh Collins responded with; “I’m surprised that people like you still want Nigeria to be relegated backwards with the introduction of these old Men to rule Nigeria. You are not Fair to your conscience and you know it”.
The critics of this her post on Facebook are too numerous to mention, but from all indications, Nigerians are not happy with the APC and won’t want them to return to power come 2023 general election in the country.
