Kano Inferno: 19 Dead, N36m Property Destroyed

According to a statement by Kano State Fire Service Commission, about 19 people were confirmed deed and properties worth over N36 million were also destroyed by fire incident that happened in the different parts of Kano State Nigeria in the month of November 2022.

Saminu Abdullahi who is the Fire Service Public Relation Officer of the State disclosed this report in a statement he issued on Friday.

He also disclosed that property worth N83 million and 71 people were successfully saved from different fire disasters that occurred across the State by the Commission.

The commission through their Public Relation Officer, Saminu Abdullahi stated that the commission received 76 fire calls, 44 rescue calls and 16 false alarms in November across its 27 fire stations.

He further advised the general public to be conscious of fire outbreak, especially during the period of harmattan.
