Police Neutralize Nine Kidnappers in Lagos Operation

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of nine suspected kidnappers during a confrontation in the Ladipo area of the state.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday when the police intervened as the kidnappers attempted to abduct an individual.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer for Lagos State, confirmed the development, stating that the suspects were killed in a shootout with the police.

“The kidnappers, numbering nine, engaged the police in a gun duel during their attempt to abduct someone in Ladipo. They were neutralized during the operation, which took place around 8 pm on Thursday,” Hundeyin said.

 

Photographs of the deceased suspects were seen on a patrol vehicle at the command headquarters in Ikeja, along with recovered firearms, ammunition, and military uniforms allegedly belonging to the suspects.
