Gov. Adeleke Sacks 12,000 Workers, Including 2 Monarchs

The newly sworn in Governor of Osun State Nigeria, his Excellency Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has sack about 12,000 workers with 2 monarchs inclusive on his first day in office. Note also that all the Local Government Chairmen in the State were also sacked by a court order.

The Governor who was elected following the new electoral act introduced in the electoral system of Nigeria and was made legal through a signature from the country’s President has started offloading most of the Staff appointed by the previous administration in the State. His election and win has given so much hope on the Nigerian people that they can still trust their electoral body.

During his campaign earlier this year, which was championed by his nephew, David Adeleke (Davido) and his party, The People’s Democratic Party, the newly sworn in Governor promised the people of Osun to bring back, massive development and also fight the injustice done by the previous administration.

  1. Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola

Though he still has a court case with the former governor of the State, Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola and his party (APC). The newly elected Governor was sworn in as the new governor of the State. Reports has it that he has also freezes the government accounts and also made some appointments. Could this be that he is fighting the previous administration or that he is fighting the corrupt practices done by the previous administration?
