It was a sad Sunday morning in Niger State Nigeria as a Catholic Priest was burnt to death by bandits in Niger State, Nigeria.
According to reports, the Bandits attacked the Kafin Koro Community in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State.
The attack started around 1AM when most of the community residents are still sleeping
They divided themselves into two and started attacking vigorously, shooting from different corners of the community, according to an eye witness, by the name Paul who shared the ugly ordeal to newsmen.

While one group were attacking the community, the other group went straight to Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church were they burnt a Reverend Father by name Isaac Achi to death.
Paul narrated to newsmen that the Bandits couldn’t assess the Parish house where the Fr. Isaac Achi was staying, this leads to them setting the whole building on fire and waited for everything to burn to ashes with the Rev. Father in it.
He further stated that the Divisional Police Officer was reached, but couldn’t get to scene until he died.
The spokesman of the Nigerian police command in the state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun who confirmed the incident, added that another priest, Father Collins, was shot during the attack.
