Bandits Raid Kaduna Community, Kidnap Residents and Set Buildings Ablaze

In the early hours of Wednesday, bandits attacked the Akwando community in Kaduna State’s Kachia Local Government Area, abducting numerous residents and causing significant destruction.

The assailants set fire to a house and two shops during the raid, which lasted several hours. A source reported that three individuals sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.

“The bandits came in large numbers and attacked the community shortly after midnight,” the source explained. “The assault began from the market area and extended to other houses in the community.”

Many residents were kidnapped, and three others were injured and taken to a hospital. The bandits also burned one house and two shops during the attack.

The source mentioned that the terrorists operated for hours, making it difficult to determine the exact number of abducted residents.
