It was a sad scene to be gotten as at least 10 persons died in an auto crash that happened earlier today in Enugu State.

It was gathered that a bus, which loaded from Abakpa, in Enugu East local Government Area of Enugu State was heading to New Market when the ugly incident occurred.

An eyewitness reported that the driver who was simply identified as Simon was coming from Abakpa and made attempt to overtake another vehicle in his front that was emitting too much carbon monoxide.

On the process, the bus collided with a trailer which was coming in the opposite direction.

According to the eyewitness, “the driver was coming from Abakpa and made attempt to overtake another vehicle in his front that was emitting too much smoke.

“As he did attempt to overtake the vehicle, the trailer was very close and the next thing we heard was a loud sound and the bus was completely damaged. I don’t know how many survived but I counted over 8 dead bodies on the floor”, the eyewitness added.
