In a significant legal ruling, a three-member panel of the Court of Appeal in Lagos has upheld the appeal of Rt. Hon. Barr Sunday Cyriacus Umeha of the Labour Party against the decision of the National and State House of Assembly Tribunal in Enugu. The tribunal had previously voided the mandate granted to Hon. Umeha by the people of Agbaja on February 25, 2023, replacing him with Rt. Hon. Festus Uzor of the PDP.
