Dangote gets Senegalese national award

Aliko Dangote, the President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, has received the esteemed National Order of the Lion award from President Macky Sall of Senegal.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulated the billionaire businessman on the honour.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Tinubu applauded the industrialist “for his enterprise and ingenuity, creating jobs and opportunities for many in Nigeria and across West Africa, as well as contributing to their economies, which the award further affirms.”

The President commended Dangote and wished him the very best in his endeavors.
