Ebenyakwu Phillip, has taken a major step towards enhancing peace and security in the area with the deployment of additional security personnel. This development, dated July 4, 2024, comes as a result of his relentless efforts to tackle the security challenges facing his people.
Hon. Barr. Ebenyakwu recently traveled to Makurdi, the Benue State capital, to advocate for an increased military presence in Agatu. His dedication has paid off, and Nigerian Army troops are now on their way to the local government area.
Upon their arrival, Hon. Barr. Ebenyakwu emphasized the importance of law and order. He warned that anyone attempting to disrupt the peace will face strict legal consequences, irrespective of their status or background.
