Senator Ishaku Abbo, a prominent figure from Adamawa State, has denied allegations linking him to a controversial sex video that has recently gone viral. The video, which surfaced late last week, shows a light-skinned man engaged in sexual activity with a woman alleged to be married. Although the man’s identity in the video remains unclear, Senator Abbo’s name was tagged in connection with the incident, sparking widespread speculation.
In response, Senator Abbo held a press conference where he strongly denied any involvement, questioning how anyone could identify him based on the limited footage shown in the video. “How can you identify a person without seeing his face, just parts of his legs, and claim it’s Senator Abbo?” he stated.
Senator Abbo, who was removed from his Senate seat by an Appeal Court ruling earlier this year, attributed the scandal to political opponents attempting to discredit him. He argued that such “timid blackmail” would not hinder his political ambitions, citing examples of other politicians who have overcome similar controversies.
The senator has threatened legal action against those he believes are behind the video’s circulation, warning that such tactics would not affect his political standing. He emphasized that his supporters remain loyal due to his performance in the Senate and that attempts to tarnish his image would ultimately fail.
