1 Killed, 45 Kidnapped As Bandits Attack Kaduna Community

It was a dark Christmas day in Angwan Aku, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Nigeria as bandits kill 1 and kidnapped 45 others.

Reports has it that the attack happened when the Christian faithful were getting ready to attend Church services in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

It was also reported that the bandits in their hundreds came with bikes which they parked along the village road before attacking the community. They were shooting sporadically in every corner of the community, making the villagers to run for their dear life.

They further went from house to house kidnapping their victims. About 53 people were kidnapped that day, according to sources, but 7 of them escaped from their captivity.

The Spokesperson of the Nigerian police in the State, Mohammed Jalige claimed not to be aware of the incident, but he promised the police will investigate the incident.
